A Taste of HomeAt Aqui Me Quedo, every plate carries the soul of Puerto Rico. The name means "Here, I Stay" - and that's exactly how our neighbors feel after one bite. We slow-roast our pernil until it falls apart, simmer sancocho the old way, and season every grain of rice with love. Since our first day on Park Street, we've served Hartford like family, bringing the island's warmth, color, and flavor to every table we set. Come hungry. Leave happy.

What Hartford SaysPortion was generous and the Pernil / Roast Pork is moist and full of flavor. Yellow rice comes seasoned and with peas. For those who enjoy it, you can request the crispy skin in "additional requests" section. Pastelillos de Carne / Ground Beef Patties came warm and is approximately the size of my hand. It's huge! Edges are crispy, groun beef is moist although a bit of a different flavor than I was expecting.
